Strategic procurement

As part of a global initiative, our client was looking for savings across its supply relationships. We conducted a ProcureMap - a systematic analysis tool unique to us - to identify the main issues and opportunities and to quantify costs and benefits. From this, we developed a category review and implementation plan.

We also developed a user friendly procurement-centric reporting database to assess and track improvements in procurement activity, and reviewed the requirements and business objectives for e-procurement tools.

Finally, we reviewed a number of supply categories, including travel, electrical supplies, hire, and recruitment, and established improved supply arrangements. These saved our client between 10 to 15% of their budget – more than $1.2 million.
