Establishment of the Justice Sector Policy Unit
We have assisted our client to establish the Justice Sector Policy Unit (JSPU) and begin development of a future (15year+) perspective for the sector. This will look at the implications for the sector as well as other involved agencies, such as Ministry of Social Development, in terms of the formation and alignment of strategies and policies.
We also developed processes and models to demonstrate the current level of integration and dissociation of agencies strategies.
Stocktake of the Current Sector Strategic Planning Processes
As a result of the above work we have been asked by the Sector Strategic Business Unit to undertake a stocktake of the processes justice sector agencies follow to develop their strategic plans and how our client can provide appropriate assistance to achieve improved results.
Human resource impact on implementation of SAP SRM
Our client was introducing a SAP SRM module, and needed to understand and manage the likely human resource impact of the implementation.
We developed a methodology that provided the answers they were seeking. We conducted a series of structured interviews nationally involving a wide range in internal stakeholders, and collated and analysed the findings for presentation to the project steering group.
Our client was able to fully understand and provide for the likely impacts, and develop a solid foundation for change management.
Corporate Finance assignments
We have carried out a number of assignments for our client’s Corporate Finance section, including:
- assessment of options to develop business opportunities for an employment development group
- management of the restructuring of the payroll group
- quality assurance management of their Procurement Project
- review of the SAP HR/Payroll Project and development of improvements for the on-going management of projects
We are currently providing project management and quality management for the model development project. This will provide an evidence base for the construction of strategic options of the 2008 2013 Strategic Plan and help establish the required funding to support each option.
